removing fuel heater
Read on one of the forums to remove the fuel heater and sensor as they do nothing anyway. Well what happens when it is -20F to -40F in the winter, does this heater not help from freezing up running down the road?

As long as you buy fuel that is winterized for anticipated low temperatures you don't need the heater.
If you're like me and don't trust the fuel station use antigel additive in the winter also.

Mine gave up the ghost a couple years ago and I have not replaced it. As Infidel said, good fuel and additive and you won't have a problem. As you drive the return fuel to tank starts to warm the fuel in the tank anyway.
