Hello all
I have removed the back seat out of my 98 QC and am wondering if anyone has made a bed for that area. When the childeren were young we used that back seat alot, but now everyone is off to college and it is never used.
I have always hated that seat anyway. I would like to put a bed back there and use it on short trips when I pull a goose neck trailer. I have put sound reducing material on the back panel so noise is not a problem, in fact it is much quieter now.

I just pulled mine out too. What did you use on the back of the cab for insulation?

I built a "flat floor" deck for it today. I bought a 48"x32" dog crate bed for my dogs. They are much happier!

I took my back seat out in 2000 and up in the bobble tinfoil that you put around a hotwater tank, the back panal of a regular cab fits on the back wall and I drilled two more holes in the stand off and anchored it with 4 S/S screws and washers.
