remote oil filter mount help.
I'm trying this again. Let's stay closer to the topic this time. I'm sure every one knows my thoughts on the stock location of the oil filter by now. I'm looking for any info on a remote oil filter mount. I will be installing a bypass system some time in the future, unless the remote mount kit comes close to the cost of the bypass system.

I "Believe" you can go to the Amsoil website and see pictures of various mounting examples of their remote bypass system. I believe the Dodge preference was actually drilling and mounting the unit on the side of the frame. Easy to access and very stable mount. Hope this helps.

Yes AMSOIL does sell a REMOTE filter mount. you can look at my pics and see how I mounted my By-pass system. If you go ahead and decide which type of By-pass you are going with then, if I were you , I would set my remote mount up in the location you plan on mounting the by-pass system that way you don't have to reengineer things again. Just my .01 worth.
