Reflash to 18-037-04 or stay w/ 18-007-04

Had my truck get the milage flash - asked for 18-037-04. The dealer relashed my truck with 18-007-04. I I asked teh tech & he said that that the 18-007-04 includes 18-037-04, but I don't believe that it actually does. the falsh was done about 2000 miles ago & my milage went up 1 mpg (up from 17.7 to 18.7).

Should I go back and ask the dealer to reflash w/ 18-037-04 or just stay w/ the 18-007-04?

I agree with you in that I doubt that flash includes 18-037-04. I'm not sure how the TSB numbering system works exactly but I assume they are sequentially numbered as they are published.

There must be a way to veryify what version your computer has installed using the dealer's DRB III. Can you take it to another dealer?

I'm wondering if the "tech" (tech being a misnomer) mislabled the flash. Since your mileage increased by the advertised amount I'm wondering if you actually received 18-037-04 and the goofball wrote the wrong number down.

I think handy has a point, sequential numbering, 037 would include 007, not the other way around, but if the "tech" did goof up while writing down the info who knows what they did.
