Reducing turbo lag

I have some basic mods (see signature) but I would like to know what options I have for getting a faster turbo spool. I thought the edge EZ would help but it seems to only work on the mid to high RPMs. Would a ATS intake manifold help? Thanks you guys rock!

I've put the ATS intake manifold on mine. I did notice it helped a little with the TAG, but the ATS manifold feels more stronger from 1700 & up. I've read that people have had good results in modifying the FCA (Fuel control actuator) from the DIY CP3 mod. I still haven't had a change to modify mine yet, but from that thread it sounds like its what you're looking for. You can do a search for "cp3 mod" to find it.

With turbo lag I've seen the same thing with ATS manifold. It seems to work better above that 1600-1700 rpm level.

Very simple, a downloader like the Bully Dog with low-end fueling (enabled). Lag=gone.

Like CButler said, BDDL. My triple dog on the performance setting with low end power enabled lights the turbo very quickly.

should be an option when loading it into your truck. if not, go update your Triple Dog and re-install.

Left foot on brake.
Press and hold.
Right foot on throttle.
Press and hold.
After a second or two, release left foot.

No more turbo lag.

Not a good idea unless setup right, but if you're wanting insta-spool...
