Recon vs Commander real world experience

Well, as far as how they read they are basically the same.
It all depends on what you are looking for. I would assume most people either bought one or the other?
So tell us your needs and future plans and we can probably guide you.
If cost is the most important factor then the Recon is the way to go.
If you plan on adding a power module later then the Commander might be the better investment.
They are both built to serve a purpose, we just need to know your desires first!

I'm wanting to eventually stack the Quad race with a Smarty, would either work or is one better than the other? There both basically just gauges right?

After quad fixed the fuel pressure sensor problem and I am really seing that the xzt makes my pressure drop to 0 pretty quick I won't run high performance parts without something like my commander that backs the chip down. Set it and forget it. Memory, warning light that you can't miss, defueling. Commander is awsome, you don't even have to look at the gauges if you don't want to, it does the work for you. I had a problem with my first commander and they swapped them out with no question. Great company.

From the top of my head...
* Four parameters can be displayed at once instead of only one.
* Will control a power module.
* Has programmable safety features to defuel said power module when predetermined conditions are met.
There may be others also.
