Recon cab and fender light questions

I got the cab and fender lights for Christmas. On the cab lights they simply plug into exsisting cab light sockets simple right??? Not at all I have to plug them In and then pull it out slowly till it makes contact and it's almost falling out before the lights come on. And when the stock lights on in they work perfect. I don't know what to do to get them to stay on like they are supposed to?? And one doesn't work at all I tried it on three different light sockets.

And the fender lights have the same connection as the cab lights and I pulled the fender lights and they are a complete different connection than what's on the truck, the truck has got a male into female but the male has two plugs that plug into the entire light fixture.

I need any and all help please this is driving me mad cause I don't understand why the new lights won't work but a regular light bulb works perfect?

3 of my buddies have them 2 on chevys and one on a ford and they have problems also, with the wires falling apart and the lights not working right out of the box from recon.

I have a set waiting to be put on..
Im planning on totally cutting off the connections and hard wiring the hole thing.
I got my RECONs fom a dif smaller site and the guys there straight up sent me directions with the lights that said.. "there are many dif ways to install these, this way IMO, is the best."

Their directions call for cuttin off conectors and hard wiring the hole thing so thats what Ill be doin for sure.

Ok so here's what I learned the lights are plug and play obviously. They are polarity sensitive so it matters which way the plug goes in the exsisting socket I got mine to go on just fine for the cab lights, the fender lights however are a no go. Of you try to return them they have to send you a permission to them. You can't just send them back cause there customer service sucks and they will make you feel like a total idiot and that you don't know anything. But they also don't even include instructions with there products about how to install

From what i have read here in this thread you guys should let them know YOU ALL are having the same issues and the problem is on THEIR end .

I would suggest you all tell them you are sending them back and they have two options 1= refund our money or 2= give us a GOOD product that actually works.

Remind them that you will be advertising for / or against them accordingly to the end results. Maybe even mention you belong to a website or two where the results will be talked about and are currently being watched awaiting the results.

Be polite, firm, and direct to the point and ask for their id and if you can't get results as for their supervisor.

Thats how it was with my 3rd break light too.
Obviously that was a little more up front, but being that I currently dont have cab lights and bought the hole kit, wiring and all, Im grateful the place I got mine from included directions. You could get ahlod of these guys, see what they think. Their where I got my set from.

I think they are pretty basic wiring, I would just hard wire em. That way you really dont need to worry about a good connection with the plugs.
