Recent Dyno Runs, TNT-R, BD Race Twins and Defueling, HELP

My truck is an 2007. I did about 12 dyno runs between Friday and Monday and the truck is defueling at about 2750 RPMs. We are stuck as to why. At 2750 rpms we were at 600hp, so we were on track to make pretty big numbers. It almost looks and feels like the stock rev-limiter. Any help would be really appricated.

Jason at Diesel Nut Motorsports In Sacramento did the following Mods then we dyno'd it:
Industrial Injection Dual CP3's
Industrial Injection Stage 2 nozzels (90Hp)
BD R700 Twins
Studs
Springs
TNT-R
Quad X2 with a pressure tune and boost fooling

During the Run:
The TNT-R has the rev-limiter off for sure and SW9 or SW7
Boost 63lbs
Rail Pressure is 24,500 PSI

if you didn't adjust the speed limiter... that would do it.

We were in thrid and I think hit 80mph or so. Also the speed limiter is set high.

Do you have larger tires? Have you adjusted for this? Maybe change tire size so that your speedo can rev up to 130mph or so.

My '07 de-fuels badly as well, but I made 722hp with Flux 2.5's on its first pass.

Something is wrong.

Try this
-Turn the Shift De-Fuel to OFF (#1)
That will fix the de-fueling

Also
-Turn the torque management off (#4)
-Crank up the timing to #2 or even #1 (if it doesn't rattle too bad).
-Turn the rail pressure to #3
-Make sure you wastegate is cranked down.

Dyno again and I bet you'll be over 700!
Good Luck!

I was/am having the same problem, I was on Floor-it's dyno when it first occured so I went to another dyno in town to verify and it was still occuring. FP staying around 20 on full runs. My speedo has been adjusted for tire size also. Been on John's dyno several times and this just started happening. Happens with or without smarty also.

Highrpms,

When do you plan to be at Jasons next? I'd like to drop by and check it out.

I am wondering if it is an 2007 problem since others with 07's are having the same issue. Maybe its something Marco can fix.

yep. I'm going to Scheid's show this weekend not sure if I'm driving yet or riding but if I drive I'll be on one of the dyno's up there. John at Floor-it says he's got a few other trucks doing the same thing but last I talked to him they hadn't figured it out, that was 6 months ago. Maybe a phone call is in order.

The graph shows that it is acting like the stock limiter. It actually carries peak hp until 3,300 or so. It isn't defueling at 2,750, it is defueling at 3,300.

The graphs I have seen with mods similar to mine continue to climb a lot higher than 2750 as the peak, up to even 1000 rpms more. I would say it is starting to limit fuel or defueling at 2750 and agree it is acting like a stock rev-limiter.
