Rebuilding my Tranny
what am i getting into? im looking at rebuilding my 48re. im gonna put in a dtt rebuild kit. dtt shift kit and a dtt tripple billet converter. what else do i need? never gonna see more than six fifty for horse power.

Probably would be wise to get a billet input shaft with the triple disk converter. That thing locks up hard. Flex plate would probably be a good idea as well.

is your trans stock?
you need....
billet apply anchor and strap, apply lever, billet intermediate and rear servo, billet accumulator, laminated flexplate(at least), billet input, im sure there is something im missing but that is what i was gonna do to mine eventually.
how much power do you want a single disk might fit your needs better?
