Are rear windows from reg and x cabs the same & will a slider fit in place of fixed?

Are rear windows from reg and x cabs the same & will a slider fit in place of fixed?

I'm looking for replacement rear cab glass for my 96 extended cab longbed, it originally came w/ fixed(non sliding) glass, will glass from a standard cab work? What about a Dodge sliding rear window, will it fit, what has to be done, and can that come from a standard cab? How do they come out, rubber gasket around the edge, or do they have to be cut out like a windshield? Thanks for any help.
