rear window
Anyone replace the rear glass in there truck? Mine is a 94 single cab with a slider and the driver side is broke out thinking about a solid glass for the back.

Actually the back windows have a slight curve to them from top to bottom. It's engineered that way to keep the sun from making a giant reflector out of the back window and blinding people behind you. I remember reading about that in some literature about the design points of the first (93-94?) restyled Rams when they first came out.

I too have thought of replacing the slider on my 02. The only time the slider has been opened is when someone broke into my truck. I got a price from a auto window place and I think it was $135 installed. The only thing is you have to get it tinted. The factory slider is factory tinted, and they dont make a factory tinted sigle piece, at least my dealer said they didnt.
