I'm pretty sure they will swap out if you can get them out in one piece. Your best bet would be to get a glass guy to look it over, I believe they are glued in and a royal pain in the tailpipe to get out in anything resembling one piece.

You'll probably both have to buy new gaskets but it can certainly be done.

No gaskets on at least the '01 and '02's. Those are glued in and not interchangeable with earlier gasketed ones according to the glass shop I called. Not sure when they changed them as I have one from a '97 that has the gasket. Almost impossible to remove without breakage according to information I was given. I haul crushed cars out of wrecking yards part time so I will likely eventually have a chance to find out if it can be done without breaking anything. Anyone close by looking for a slider with the gasket? I sell cheap!

I wanted the same thing. I went from a slider to a solid window and my glass guy laughed when I asked if he could save the slider for me to resell. He had to smash the slider to get it out with all the epoxy holding it in place.

I prefer a one piece and am glad mine came with it since I have a quad cab. Too much trouble to crawl in the back to use unless it was a motorized one.
