I ordered a replacement tail light for my 2007 5.9. WOnderful horse backed into it and broke the red part but everything else is fine. How do you get it off? 2 screws near tail gate and it pops out? THanks!

It's going to be snug and may feel like you are going to break something but a good firm pull and they pop out. There are 2 metal studs in the housing that push into the plastic pronged grommets on the metal tabs on the truck.

You can see the grommets here on the right side of the truck



And here are the studs at the bottom of the pic.

Put some silicone grease on the studs so the next time removing the tail light assembly will be much easier.

just dont pull too hard and jack up the electical connection. Had a friend pull her denali lights off with out listening and ripped the wires right out lol
