Rear fender lights....
Ok now my dually fender light have not worked nor have my license plate lights or the 3 red lights on the tail gate. I have replaced all lights with LED lights, and all new pigtails as the factory ones where fairly corroded.. After all of that they still dont work.? Am i missing something? I cant seem to find a fuse for them, and I dont have any idea on how Dodge has them wired in??..
Anyone else had problems with these lights not working, and ideas where to start? Electrical schematics would be helpful too!

jam a test light in to make sure you have power to the back.
i had a few corode but a wire brush and dialectric grease got them working.
the lights for the plate rot out, so i moved the bar from the tailgate to the truck bed under the gate, i put a clear in the center to act as the plate light.
also, i dont have to mess with wiring when taking the gate off.

Not sure if the 01 is the same, but my 97 has two connectors located behind the left front tire inner fender. One of those connectors has the wire that powers the marker lights, but it probably also powers the tail lights. If the tail lights are working then you will need to find the split for the other lights in the wire harness. A multimeter and test light will be your friends here.

where'd you get the LED lights for the bed at?
Where'd you get the new pigtails at?
I bought new LED's for mine at Wal-mart, BUT they only have them with chrome bases. 3 of the factory bases on the truck are broken and I want them black just like factory NOT chrome.
Anyone know where to find the black bases for the LED lights as well?

Got the LEDs at the local Peterbilt shop, and got the new pigtails from Dodge..
I havnt had much time to look at it as im dealing with a 6.0 power stroke thats dead in the water. It wont even think about firing.
