Rear end replacement

I trashed the rear end in my truck and have been looking for a replacement. Anyone know if you can use one with the damper on the yoke in place of one that did not have it? They seem to be more common.

Thanks,
Andy

With the round damper is probably off a truck with an auto trans. I took the rear driveshaft off to replace the u-joints and mine has the damper. You could try cross referencing part #s to see if the auto and manual trucks use the same driveshaft.
