rear axle spindle nut
Im in the process of installing seals and brakes. I need to track down a socket for the nut that holds the whole works together.
I took the calipers and measured the nut and it came out to 2.5" but when I came inside and jumped on the net everything i read says 2 9/16"?? im starting to second guess my measurements.... did they ever use a 2.5" nut??

yes 2 9/16 is correct. there's only a 1/16th of an inch between what you measured and what it should be. i did my brakes in april...all the springs were a royal pain in the edit. good luck with it
