REAL Specs for 2500 Ram Diesel (And is it crew, club, quad cab)
So i been searching for information and specs on my new truck... I cant find anything credible! One site doesn't have the diesel engine available. Some sites have 2 different diesels listed (different HP/TQ ratings). Some have quad, extended, and club cab listed... Good lord... Which is which and what is what! Just trying to find out information on standard features, tow/haul ratings, etc.
Anyone know?
Oh, and which cab is which? The 99 has 4 doors, rears open backwards. So which is that?
Thanks! This stuff makes me

Club Cabs I believe were only available in 96, 97, and 98 (possibly 95's as well) and are extended cab trucks but without the rear doors.

Club cabs were available from '95 to somewhere around '01, but became a pretty rare option once the quad came around.
Hp/torque depend on tranny, autos are generally 20hp less until 01, when the became the same rating as the 5 spd.

Club cabs (back seats but no rear doors) go much farther back than 1995. My 1992 was a club cab, and I remember seeing them back into the 1980's model years. I don't know for sure, but I suspect the club cab replaced the true "crew cab" that had four full-size doors, but unfortunately I don't know when Dodge quit making those.
