Read Before You Buy BD Twins
I've Got a set of Bd Twins here at the house. I'm powder coating the pipes and fitting everything together before we install them on a friends 06. The kit itself seems to be nice and complete.
Heres the SAD part, The 4 pipes that come in the kit are the bigest pieces of JUNK that I have ever seen in my life BD Power makes alot of money with all parts they sell, but for some reason they can't buy a tubing bender that is worth a flip.
All the pipes have hundreds of teeth marks all over them. It took me several hours of grinding to try to smooth out the smallest pipe, and with 3 coats of powder coating on it you can still see the marks.
Don't buy a set of BD twins if you plan on opening your hood at a show If you are going to paint the pipes, a bunch of BONDO will do the trick before you put the paint on.
I'm not slaming BD Power as a whole, but what I'm saying is that with all the money our members and other people have spent with BD you would think that the products they send out would be worth the money they charge!!!
BD you need to fix this problem ASAP before you lose customers.

Don't worry, I'll get them right. It will take a bunch of time, but I have lots of that. I might just make a new set of pipes for you. I know you care alot about how your truck looks, like I do. For some reason BD doesn't think that looks are importain
Any MOM + POP muffler shop could make better pipes then the ones that came in your kit. For over $4000.00 you would think you would get some nice looking parts.

There is nothing like the feeling of that bottom turbo lighting I have a set of Scheid Twins and love them. I spent 1/2 hour preping the pipes for powder coating and they have a better finish then my truck. Scheid cares about what they send out the door and that is why I will keep on going to them in the future.

There's a guy on another site with a BD trans and he is having serious issues with it. He is on the second trans and their idea of a fix for him is to "Just learn to drive around the problem"!! I don't think I'll buy anything from them again......

What did BD say when you called them to complain? Management doesn't work in the loading dock so its always good to keep them informed....they post regularly on here so I'm sure they would like to know if there are problems with their workers or equipment. ks

Winner winner chicken dinner!
Checked mine this morning as I dont recall anything, and on some of the bends their is a checkerboard pattern. But only in a few spots nothing to severe. I plan on having them powder coatred along with my valve cover and shouldnt be too bad, or maybe get someone to bend some stainless-that would be nice.
If thier real bad I would contact them and have a new set sent to you, Im not too concerned with mine.

I understand where your coming from. But the ooh-ahh factor just isn't there when you open the hood. Since I like to show and go, I went with the twins because they'll look good when I do get them on there, they're not gonna make excessive heat, and I should have less lag as well.
