This happened to my buddies truck(exact same truck as in my Sig). He calls me this morning to tell me his truck wont start and hes stuck with a trailer. I go to get him and Im thinking its just something stupid and we'll have him going in no time. The truck doesnt do anything when you turn the key. the dash cluster lights up like normal, but the truck wont even crank. I noticed that the shifter indicator(P R N D 3 2) display is not lit and does not show??? Bottom line...truck wont start(11K miles) We call tow, and he cant get it to start and loads it up and off to the dealer. Once at the dealer, tow operator drops it off and service advisor is contacted and goes out to the truck to get some info. the service guy turns the key and low and behold the truck fires up!!!! Just like nothing was wrong. They said just go ahead and take the truck, but my buddy left it there and told them to look at it more carefully. Does anybody have any ideas as to what went wrong??? My Buddy just came over to CTD from a very bad 6.0 nightmare(as I did). What can I tell him might be the problem?

I thought somebody posted a pic of some yellow wire that can get chaffed/rubbed through and then cause a intermittent no start?????
