She still had more, I got out of the spray because the head started lifting. Got a little anti freeze on me...

Time to O-Ring the head.

congrats dont ring the head just get better studs talk to a few shops like haisley they are anti ringing weather its orings or fire rings on a street truck and have good reasons. 14 mm studs if you want to spray

Thank you! Yeah, I sprayed it down the intake again... wonder when my luck will run out... Just the standard ARP 625's.

I'm going to have to look in on that. I would much rather do that than o-ring it, but I don't want to do crap 2x.

I am dumbstruck that I placed yesterday. I was second on #2 only, and I think that the 37's I just put on had a lot to do with that. I had thought about taking some stock size tires, I guess I should have. I made the same HP as last time I ran, I am figuring it was the tires. That, and there was no correction on the dyno this time. Perfect weather!

How is that housing keeping temps? Yeah those tire would definatley rob some power. I read in DP that just have a heavy rearend like a dana 110 will rob 70hp. The tq number went up a little still.

Nice run and trophy, great looking family!

I might suggest that this is a great time to put a cam and springs in since the head is coming off. Upgrade to TNT/r with them goodies in place.

But then the vicious cycle is already in play - more air with twins, bigger injectors cause of the twins, bigger twins cause you have just a hair too much fuel, second CP3 cause you got the bigger twins.....

On edit - just noticed the 37's. Take 'em off next time and replace with the stockers if you kept them around. Only takes a couple of minutes.

Yeah, last time I dynoed, I was using the revo and 35's, this time, I was using TNT with the 37's. David said I flirted with 1400's on the EGT's. That SS housing spools VERY nice.

I'm suprised you're lifting the head with the 625's. What do you have them torqued to? I could understand the ARP 2000's but I was always told the 625's are comparable in strength to the 14 mm's.

Right off the top of my head, I could not tell you. They were to specs last time I did any work on her.

I was over 70 lbs of boost...

Just as a point of reference, I am running the stock gasket with standard ARP studs torqued to the spec and hit over 80 pounds on the 04.5. The cam really helps with drive pressure.

With the gas things change a lot though, as am sure you are aware. May need to talk to some of the gurus in terms of timing and using the NOx.
