Ramcharger conversion.

Ramcharger conversion.
Finally I am being forced to do my conversion. My 98' 12V ate a cellica a month ago. The ball joints are bent and I found the cab mounts rusted under the undercoating. I found this out because the one on the drivers side collapsed. So, I went out and found a really clean 89' RC. It has the 318 fuel injected and is completly stock and everything works.
I am going to post my progress here. I am going to do a simple swap. Leaving all of the truck intact. I am using the existing axles, I will need to change the transmission/transfer case, but that comes with the 98'. Barring minor driveshaft work, I believe that is the only thing I will actually need modification. Moving trans mounts is not what I consider major modification. Being in florida I already deleted the grid heaters so there is no issue there. I am looking to go mechanical for all of my guages. Using only the spedo and a few dummy lights I will wire myself. I Have a concern about motor mounts. I know the first gens motor mounts were in the same location. What about the 2nd gens? Also I should only need a pickup tube in my existing fuel tank? maybe 5/8 rubber fuel line. I welcome any and all advice as I like to learn.
