Anyone used one of these gauges or heard of them?

I just sent them a question:

I would like to see the connector that your Cummins rail pressure gauge uses to piggyback the factory rail pressure sensor. I have had a bad experience with Quadzilla where the connector allowed moisture into the connector and corroded the pins on my sensor. They ran 2 wires out of 1 grommet. Thanks, Matt

I have had no issues with Quadzilla products. Been one on my truck for the past 40,000 miles. Always somebody that's not happy though, just the way it is.

I like the looks, sound, and price of that gauge, might have to keep an eye on this.

As for the Quadzilla stuff, I have one on my truck. Havent had any problems in the year or so I've had it. But then again I usualy use that dialectric grease or what ever it's called when I connect electrical junk up.

I had issues when they first came out with the rail pressure gauge. I am not ******* Quad, I have recommended them to several friends.... just not their RP gauges.

This was the cause of their issues. You cannot run 2 wires out of 1 hole. It does not seal and water can get in.

You could always use a little silicone or grease to seal things.
Just a thought

I understand what your saying about not running the wire like that, however it would be such an easy self-fix that the cost and convenience of their guage is well worth it.....to me atleast. I agree though a "quality product" shouldnt need any self-fixes......but again it's worth it to me.

Now that I've seen this gauge, might have to give it a try.

That was done on about 50 wiring harnesses ever, maybe 100.

The new ones are doubled in the molded side now, no possible way for those that want to power wash their motors for water to get in.

And it wasn't moisture getting in, it was from pressure washing the motor. So if you are going to show the picture at least tell the whole story. Its not like it was raining and water got in it.

It was for me through the SRT-10 scoop. If anyone there was concerned with quality control there would not be a picture to show. I was one of the few 50-100 that got the bad connector. Nice to see you are not that concerned about such a small amount of instances.

That was a long time ago. Anyone who had a harness with that issue could send one in and get it replaced for free obviously. We fixed it as soon as we knew it was an issue. They were never supposed to go out like that but, it happens.

We have have humans working for us and un-fortunately they are not like you and occassionally they made a mistake.

Overall, it was a minor mistake, I have seen a lot worse.

We shipped almost 10,000 rpg's last year so the fact that less than 1% had this issue is ok with me I guess.

i have the speed-hut pyro gauge in my truck. works good but, do have an intermittent problem with it, but i think that was from me when i installed it. I accidentally crossed the harness that is braided steel across my battery terminals and started to smoke a little. But i like the gauge!! Think i will get this one off of ebay for my rail pressure.

Hi Matt,

We don't currently include a connector. Instead we recommend you cut the wire and solder our wire to your OEM sensor wire. Then seal with shrink wrap.

We don't send the Rail psi gauge with a piece of shrink tubing. But we can if you specify you need it in comments (when checking out).

Customers who have purchased our gauge have been extremely happy with the performance. We also back up our gauges with a 100% lifetime warranty.
