Radio Problems....
Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't...
When it doesn't work, the unit still has power as you can push the "time" button and the time will illuminate. It goes back off after a couple of seconds.
It did it again tonight and I shut the truck off at a light, took the key out, put it back in and started it and then the radio worked again. I think the stock head may be going out, but has anyone else had this problem?

May not be your problem but when my batts were going south, after 8 yrs , my radio/cd would lose all memory once the key was cycled. I guess the amount of power that was pulled once the key was turned on was enough to "kill" the head unit. New batts and no more radio issues....just something to look into.

I appreciate the response. It still retains power and when it does start working again it hasn't lost any of the presets. I don't think it's a battery issue.

Well it's been a couple of months. So far Jhenson was right. I had a battery going south that was dropping voltage. I have replaced the right side battery and it seems the problem has gone away.
