Question the Turbo Gods
I have a 62/71/13ss. The wastgate opens at 40PSI. What is the "good" boost range on this turbo? If thats all its good for, thats fine. Just want to get all I can out of it.

I had mine set at 48 psi. I don;t have a map but that is probably getting close to the top of it's efficency.

i had a II silver 62 which is a little different on the exhaust side, and II said it was real happy at 55psi, which is probably the upper limit of its map

Thanks for the input. Sounds like I can get more out of the turbo. Is a boost elbow that was to go?

40-42psi is nominal. I was told going past 45-50 psi is overkill, so mine is set at 42psi with peaks up to 45psi. Love the turbo, its been great!
