Question about Smarty POD settings

I am a newbie to Smarty. With my mods what settings should I be running? My truck will not be on the road for a few more weeks but I would like to get some info ahead of time.I would like to have a mild setting for driving to and from work and a fun setting for playing that is a little on the safe side. I want to be able to play but I don't want to be blowing stuff up. And when it comes time to run it on the dyno what would be the best setting?

With the PoD, and your MP-8, you are going to have a lot of adjustability.

Do you plan on using the Revo that comes with it, or going with Revo-TNT software?

With the mods you have, I would try sw9, and between the PoD and MP-8, you should be able to find a nice number (0-99), that will give you the best of both worlds with a couple of button pushes and the turn of a ****!

x2, with all the adjustablity of those two things, it's really hard to give you an exact number. i would suggest you start by loading up TNT sw9, rp1, tq4, tim2 on the smarty. then use the mp-8 to adjust your rp to a comfortable level (preferably keeping the rp no higher than 18,000psi for sustained driving). then use the PoD levels 0-99 to turn the power down to a comfortable street setting.

edit: i didn's see any valve springs in your sig, so watch your rpms w/ the tnt because it will rev to 3500rpms

With the PoD you can run level 9 all the time.Just drop the level down and down comes the power.I have the TNT/R PoD and can make my truck run like a snail on level 9.Around 45 or so feels like stock power, and the lower the slower.Bump it back to 99 and its time to play.

Actually I'm a VERY real newbie. I have no idea what revo and tnt is. I am just now starting to learn.

Revo is the standard tuning,TNT is a more agressive tune.Read up on them on Mads site and be familiar with the settings. The timing settings are different between the 2.There is a list posted on the Mads site about what "they feel" are the needed upgrades to run the TNT.Many are running it without them. Looks like you have them all except the valve springs.
