Smokeing Zeke

Hey guys, I bought a smarty s06 pod. For my 07 5.9 6-speed tranny. I had the truck programmed on level 5 pod on 99, I was camping for the weekend with my wife and son. I went to go to the store for more supplies, And noticed my speed-o was not working. I thought it may have been a sensor or something wrong with my truck, so I took it to the dealer and they asked if I had a programmer on my truck, (No worries) I am friends with them. They told me the trucks computer had lost its memory! Even though it ran fine, they said they had to re-program the computer. Of course I re-programmed the truck back to stock before I took it back to them. But this prolbem occured when I had it programmed on level 5 with the smarty. Have any of you guys ran into this prolbem before? I am scared to load up my smarty agian, in fear this may happen agian. Any ideas? thanks Zeke.

I'm running the exact truck w/Smarty revo though and no problems thus far. Hopefully,Marco will pick up on this.

Electrical anomalies happen. If it ever looses everything Marco can write a flash to get it going. He's usually pretty good about getting that stuff done.

I got this smarty from Bob wagner, I sent the smarty back to him, he said that he has heard of this happening before. I hated to send it back I really loved it. I just bought this truck about a month ago. Not worrying about the smarty being traced, just concerned about haveing to take it back to the dealer over agian to have my truck re programmed. Thanks guys for the replies! I have been reading this forum for awhile now, I finally posted! thanks agian. Zeke Oh by the way , I think it was shipped with the revo/software. Bare with me I am new to programmers. I had a 97 ford f-350 powerstroke in the past, and used a superchips back then. But new to the smarty turners. thanks agian.
