I have installed the Vulcan 90* pre-drilled fitting so that I can install my fuel pressure gauge on it. My question is: The sensor seems to screw almost all the way into the fitting, won't this block the flow of fuel? It seems that it will really decrease the amount of fuel getting to the CP3.

yeah I had to use a different brass fitting on mine...for some reason the sensor had slightly different threads...( i think they just tapped one of the fittings a little to much)
I used a male to female adapter and it seems to get tighter sooner.
so as not to block flow..
clear as mud??

yeah I had one and found the same thing and mine kept leaking so I just went back to picking up my pressure of the GDP fitting in my stock fuel canister.

If you run a NPT tap too far the fitting with go right in. Same as running the tap for the EGT probe, go too far and the fitting is not going to tighten. The threads should have a taper on them.

Yeah, they must have run the tap too far in. The sensor came be run almost all the way in by hand.

Mine did the same. Then I put in the snubber, and it seems to have cleared that issue.

just get a adapter like I said posted earlier...that's what I did and the tapper was fine on the adapter to the sender/adapter to Vulcan 90*

Nothing special? Just something I can get at Home Depot?

Ok, so I went to Home Depot and all they had was a right angle elbow or two parts (collar and full threaded part, male on both sides). So, I had to buy the two parts. Will this work or will it be too far out?

what ever you can find to make a clean connection should work...mine was a male to female adapter...

Mine never really got 'tight', felt like something got stripped but it didn't leak so I never touched it and kinda forgot about it.
