Which intake manifold is better for my 2007 Dodge Ram 5.9 3500? CFM or AFE? Thanks!

search for a 2nd gen manifold in the classifieds or ebay. Or you can go on ebay and get a decent one for ~$150.

CFM+ is the best all around stock replacement, however, you can't drill it if you need an extra tap or BOV etc.

Glacier Diesel's Intake is good because you can keep or add the 2 Micron filter. Get the grid heater delete as well.

I found a great one on ebay that I bought. Just waiting for it to get here now. It is a Byrd's Diesel one. $130... They had 5 when I bought mine. I just went back to look again and it doesn't look like there is any left for now. But here's the description on ebay....

Made in U.S.A.

5.9 Dodge Cummins Custom Intake Manifold for 24v models

SOLID 1 PIECE DESIGN ANGLED CORRECTLY TO MATCH UP WITH THE CHARGE PIPE

The pipe does NOT kink or bend the intake boot.

We do not weld 2 pieces together causing restriction and use external ports so they do not interfere with the air-flow for a nice clean look

Not just another ebay, made in china item.

There is NO catch. Just Trying to help everyone out.

*All hardware included for installation

(EVERYTHING IS WARRANTIED AGAINST STRUCTURAL DEFECTS)

Customer service is #1 on our list and everything is made specificly for each customer.

* Increases fuel mileage *Adds horsepower and torque *Quicker turbo spool up

*Quicker and snappier throttle response* Lowers EGT's

*Comes with up to 6 Custom Angled ports/no charge

*Weld on the boot side to stop blown charge pipes.

*Powder-coated for durability * We can get most colors please ask for anything specific.

*Red, Candy Red, Candy blue, Baby Blue,Flat/gloss Black, white, yellow, and orange in stock/no charge

*PLEASE specify color, year of truck, and # of ports when paying for item in the "message to seller box"

I can assure you brand won't matter. Any good manifold would be better than the present stock one. But I can also tell you "AFE the best all the way". Lol

there was an independent test done the cfm+ is many times better than the afe we bought one each before the test results was published, and came to the same conclusion. you can take a die grinder and in about 4 hours you can get the afe half as Good as the cfm+, the grid heater delete is as important as the horn

I just recently got this one from ebay and everything lines up perfectly. Not to mention the craftsmanship is outstanding. I highly recommend this intake.
