question about gauges

i just ordered my gauges , autometer phantom series . pyrometer , boost 0-60 and the trans temp gauge .
the question i have is ..does the trans temp gauge and the boost gauge come with the proper fittings to connect up to the transmission etc . i know how the pyro works with a thermo couple and all .. do i need one of those so called boost bolts from piers?? thanks for any info

The boost bolt makes the installation of the boost gauge super easy, but you can drill and tap the intake to 1/8npt. As far as the transmission sending unit there are a lot of posts discussing where to put it. But really you have two safe choices. One is buy an after market hose like the one sold by mass diesel. The second is to either tap the pan, or replace it with a pan that already has a port tapped into it.

Don't put the sending unit into the tests ports on the side of the transmisison.
