Question On Gauge Installation

I am getting ready to install gauges in my 04.5 3500. Installing fuel pressure, pyro, and boost. I can get everything installed for 500 bucks, or I can order everything off of dieselmanor.com for around 330 bucks. Just wondering if it is worth the extra money to have them installed ??? If not, is anyone located in the southern indiana area that might have a free day one weekend to help ???

thanks,

Matt

$170 to get everything installed is very cheap
if its done right

I took my time doing mine
Ive done about 5 sets in different trucks and it takes me a full day to do all three gauges properly
all connections soldered, turbo removed for drilling and tapping the manifold ,remove intake horn to drill and tap,
being thourough takes time

Yeah, they told me they would have to drop the turbo to drill and tap the manifold so no shavings would get inside. I think the place I am thinking about having it done is a reputable business who does good work.

One other question I had is whether or not to go with the in-dash three gauge install. It looks really good to me in that cubby hole, because I never use it anyway. Just wondering if anyone else has this mount and how they like it compared to the pillar mount gauges. My only concern with the pillar mount gauges is if it cuts down on visibility or not.
