Question on FP and RP Guage
Ok so I am trying to do things the right way so I have a good set of guages now. I am getting a fuel pressure and rail pressure here soon so I should have them all then. I plan to add some power here shortly, nothing more than a smarty jr. I want to tow better that is it, no hot rodding for me. My question is will I need to watch the FP and RP with out a power adder, how about with the smarty jr, I guess why are these two guages so important?

r/p with no more mods than you are talking is not really necessary, I think the f/p is always good even on a stock motor. That way when the stock lift pump takes a dump you will know without burning up your injection pump. Just my .02 cent.

FP is necessary at all times, but the RP is necessary if you can afford it and some added pressure is wanted which I don't forsee you getting. Its good for monitoring the rail pressures, and pretty much the cp-3's activity. IMO get it if you can afford it, it never hurts. But other than that i wouldn't worry about it.
