Question on an 09....
Looking at an 09 Mega cab have a question.
On the 6.7, does it come with a block heater installed? (Can I just buy the cord or do I need a complete setup?)

all 6.7s come with blockheaters installed. You may need to purchase the cord to install. Try www.genosgarage.com they will have it cheaper than the dealer. Search for block heater cord install and you will see how to route the cord and make the connection. edit:: Here is the link to the forum. https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=223768

In theory, if the dealership Sales Manager was doing his/her job properly, all diesel trucks would be ordered with the block heater cord option......thus eliminating the block heater cord fiasco we read about so often here.
One Sales Manager I know in KY clicks off the block heater cord option on every diesel truck he orders......along with the anti-spin differential option. I don't think you'll find any peg*leg diesel trucks on his lot.
