The beta1 killed my truck a couple times. Never figured out why. But it was very smooth, and fueled hard.

No but jmd was nice enough to send me the tune. I'll have to dload it and post the results....unless it kills my VP (I think it's on it's last leg).

I mean the truck shut off while driving, and wouldn't restart for about 2 mins. This happened three times in one weekend. I had loaded BETA1 on friday at lunch.....by sunday at lunch I was back to the 3k tune.

Yup, has done that a few times to me aswell on the beta1 tune, but only while idleing, start truck go inside for 3 min, come out and truck is off....??? possibly something with the high idle, but then again, my box is on its way to texas as it has been causing the CEL to come on.

when it has died, i pulled the ecm fuses for 10 sec and she fires right back up.

quadzilla should post all the tunes on the site, some of the older ones fueled really hard down low, but with surge problems he has changed the tunes to fuel at a little higher rpm.








I should note that i am so far happy with thier customer service, and I can't wait to get mine back in the truck !!!

Ok, I replaced the VP and all has been good since Saturday. Went to leave this am started, high idle kicked after 2min and the truck died again. Definately a Quad XZT+ problem. Anyone else find a fix for the high idle killing the truck? Thanks.

I've been runnig the Beta 1 tune for 3 to 4 weeks and being in construction have a lot of time where its sitting running at high idle while I run through homes. I have not had one problem yet with it. It ran high idle the other day for a good 30 minutes because I got sidetracked in a home and forgot it was running.
