Quadzilla vs EZ when stacking
I know that I asked this before in another thread under a different subject, but is the Quadzilla box more compatible than the EZ when stacking with the TST or vice versa, or do they both do the exact same thing. Thanks, Mike

They both do the same thing, so I wouldn't think one would be more compatible than the other from an electronics standpoint. I have seen each stacked with the TST with no problems. Pluses go to the Quadzilla for offering more power than the EZ and being adjustable on the fly in the cab. Mr. Martin (aka Gypsyman) is stacking the VA pressure box with the TST and is really enjoying it. The VA box has stronger low end, coming on sooner than both the EZ and Quadzilla. Also adjustable in the cab. Really livens up the bottom end of the newer, less aggressive TST program. Another option.

Thanks guy's I do appreciate it. I am going to look into the VA and Quadzilla boxes, I really like the idea of being able to adjust them from inside the cab. Are they as easy to install as the EZ? Thanks, Mike

I have the EZ Edge now, can a TS Ramifier be stacked with the EZ Edge? Or would I be better off getting a downloader of some kind? Anybody running these setups?

Most I think like the TST and the BDDL is still pretty new but getting good results so far. the bad thing about the BDDL is no adjusting on the fly, and dealers can trace it easier. the TST does duration and timing (which is good) and the VA is duration only.

I would either do the VA level 2 or the TST. The VA stack will give you the ultimate drivability and more power (if you want...plenty of levels/combos to play with) than your stock tranny and turbo can handle.
TST will cost more, not quite as smooth as the VA, but it is the ULTIMATE enhancement.

Is the TST a programmer or a plug and play box? I know the VA that I was looking at last night on the web is a box with a 3 position switch, is this the same as the level 2 you are refering to or is there another VA? Would it be wise to lower my edge from setting 3 IF I was to run the VA? What are you running? You mention my trans... I have the 6spd, I thought all I have to worry about is slipping the clutch if I go to far... so to speak. Thanks for all the help and info.

Both the TST and the VA Level 2 (duration box - 70/130 hp) are plug in boxes. The VA is digital and easier to hook up. The TST is analog and has MANY connections. Both effective...both adjustable in cab. The TST does have more adjustability and timing advance. The VA Level 2 and EZ both on high setting will slip the clutch and run hotter than your truck can handle. I would run the VA on the mid setting and the EZ on level 2 or 3. You will have to play around with it yourself to see what yeilds acceptable temps/performance for your set up and condintions. It is a sweet setup. Scotty has been running around with it and loves it.
Either box is a good choice. Both require user self control!
