My DTT parts should be here this week and then I will be ready to stack the BDDL and the Quadzilla box.

My question is: has anyone located the toogle switch in the back portion of the ashtray? I want to keep it hidden and thought that may be a good location. I have two little boys who love to play with "stuff" and I can see them treating it like a machine gun switch or something if it's in plain view.

If anyone has any pictures, please post them up.

I plan on putting it in the blank plastic area in front of the blinker control 'rod'. It would be pretty hard to reach for the kids unless they are loose in the truck with it running and you're not in the driver's seat. I know several people have mounted controllers of various sorts and hp box controllers in the ashtray. It's very common - so I'm sure you'd have no issue doing that if you wanted..

 

Lightman, I appreciate the info. I will check out the area by the blinker as well. They aren't loose in the truck very often but if I forget something and need to run back in the house, they have a way of finding and messing with things, I guess it's just the way little boys are supposed to be.

The area I'm talking about is on the dash, almost directly to the right of the headlight switch. It's just a plain/empty plastic section, which is definitely where I'm putting my switch (didn't want to say 'where I'm putting my **** )
