Quadzilla Rail Pressure Guage

It Pretty Sad When you cannot get this Frickin /Frackin Rail Pressure Guage To work, I do have a Hot Juice / EZ Stack with it. Quad RP Guage Is going into Rail pressure Sensor First and then to EZ. All I get is the number 44 to light up on the Screen, which I am guessing is the FP portion of the Guage, which I do not care about. I am looking only for Rail Pressure, I have tried Up / Down and every sequence of button pushing you could imagine And do not get any RP info to light up. I also noticed when lifting engine Hood that the EZ Module was very Toasty Hot , And When you would go to turn off the Engine it would Run and Surge for just a second after Turning the egnition to off ( Very strange ) So I was so un-happy with this wonderful piece of hardware, and after the noted heat increase on the EZ Chip , I decided to just Bag that Guage, as its was causing more Bad than Good, I here the Diprocol RP Guages were also experincing issues. Is there Any Reliable Rail Pressure Guage vender out there for Our Dodge Diesel Cummings?

I hear you man. I took my gauge off and sold it. never even asked them about it. I think it was throwing codes on my truck so its gone. I had to take a fueling box off on a hot engine so my truck would start the other day. it sucks. I burnt my arm pretty good doing it.

Soo easy to get on here and complain. Try calling them! they have great customer service #1 and who knows......maybe YOU did something wrong with the install!?? I know I am not perfect and I would hate to think that I knew everything about someone elses product. Maybe they have run across this before and know exactly what to do? Make a call, what'chya got to lose?

Hmmmm, don't like the sounds of this one

soooo, I just recently put one in as well, seems to be working ok, I am seeing about the range that I had expected so all would presumably be well. My only question is with the truck off, gauge on, should you see it jumping around @ like 50-60 psi, then when running, the gauge seems to be very jumpy. Gives "proper" readings, just has a good bit of variation to it.

Geez. I pm'd you and you sent back the same thing you started with.

I told you t call our tech department yesterday and they would have you up and running or figure out what the deal is.

Did you call them? If not don't complain.

The Rail Pressure gauge is not making the EZ hot. I already told you why it jumps at idle when you turn it off. Then I asked you to try each on seperately and see if it does it.

You are not going to get any sympathy from me if you can't help yourself a little bit.

Call tech support and then come and complain.

**Sounds like the exact same problem I had**

Check the connection under the dash (inside the truck).

Make sure ALL wires are still in the harness on both sides (5 wires I think).

It took me multiple phone calls and Pm's to Q before I figured out that 1 wire(the ground) was pulled out of the "under hood" side or the harness. All I can say is OWNER INSTALL GETS AN F (100% my fault)

If you are getting the EXTREMELY LOUD idle cladder then there is something NOT right!!!!! This in turn causes the CP3 to pump WFO and give full pressure. Inturn you get excessive Fuel Rail heat, which probably caused your EZ to heat up.

*****Remember whenever you are compressing almost anything there is heat build up!!!*****

Make sure EVERYTHING is in fact hooked up and plugged in.

BTW, Thanks Q for your personal help and for bringing the forum members a gauge we have been waiting for!! Now that mine works I love it and am glad that I do not have 2 seperate anolog gauges.

Quad Rail Pressure Guage

I am pretty sure I had it hooked up Rite, The heat has disapated from the EZ since I unplugged the Quad RP Guage. I am going to pass on a RP Guage for now ,as I do not want to overload the Rail, and id rather enjoy the benifits of the Hot Juice stacked with the EZ, Then to stare at a RP Guage Not quite as critical as having a FP Guage on a 2-nd Gen. I plan on going with an up-graded CP3 and some 70-80HP injectors down the Road in a year.
Just recieved my Joe Hellmann Intercooler at my Front Door. And some Cyro treated Power Slot Brake Rotors. This weekend should be fun.

I was helping a pal put on on his 04.5 last night, did EXACTLY what everyone is saying....no display, or displays 44, and on shutoff, it "rumps" the engine.

Checked everything up and down, had 3 of us looking at it. Nada.

Took it off, put it on my '05, same exact thing.

It's gotta be something simple.

If the Rail Pressure is reading 0 then the RPG is not seeing a signal, whether it be a bad connection or a loose connection. I would check over the connections and make sure none of the wires or pins are loose on any of the connectors and if you are still having an issue give one of the guys in the Tech Dept. a call. The Fuel Pressure reading will read 44 psi if you are not using that reading. If there is no signal going to the RPG then the reading will max out.
