I have a quadzilla adrenaline on my 2001 cummins 6 speed. When I put it on last summer in 08 I have been getting 19mpg in town and 23 mpg interstate. I went on quadzilla website to down load new updated settings because evidently they fixed any surging problem. now I am getting surging at 70 mph and mileage has dropped to 17.9mpg does anybody know what I can do to get back where I was regarding mpg.

which tune did you put on it? and what do you run it on?

I have right now ADR1004 and run it on PL10 because I noticed I get better average on higher power settings than if I run it at a lower settings. Did have ADR2004 and mileage was dropping on average and so I downloaded ADR1004 because it was less agressive. My assumption was it would help mileage. Right now I am getting 17.7-17.8 mpg. With last years file I used I think it was ADR2018 used to get better mileage the faster I drove 70+ mph now it goes down to 14 if I reach 70 mph+ . Do I need to go back to ADR2018. I just thought the different files are just added options and that they are all the same mpg?

The 1000 and the 2000 tunes reach the same peak, but the 2k series will fuel more aggressively sooner. It may have been a combo of the timing and fuel delivery that let you run smoother on the 2k tune.

I`m getting the same as you right now with mine programed with the adr2018. 14mpg @ 70mph Surged so bad even on PL02 I sent it into Quad to have the firmware updated... You might wanna give them a shout.
