Quad XZT+ tunes

I was looking on quads site yesterday at the different tunes for the xzt and seen the factory tune and the aggressive tune. What is the big difference between the two? Would the aggressive tune hurt my truck if I loaded it on?

The difference between tunes is how the XZT+ fuels the truck. No, you will not see more than the 65HP, however the fueling will be different down low and throughout the mid range. Basically it will fuel a lot harder and the truck will feel more aggressive (faster).

Do you still have the stock tranny? I doubt the XZT+ will hurt your truck. BUT if your tranny isn't in good shape to begin with, then yes it might hurt it.

You should be good to go to try out the different tunes then. I always leave my XZT+ in the timing setting anyways. I'll only flip it to fuel/timing when I want to have fun or whatever. As long as you aren't leaving it in the fuel/timing and lugging the tranny around where lock up occurs(which usually causes surging with a stock TC) then you should be good to go.

Enjoy!
