well i got the quad XZT+ in yesterday, got it installed (data link was a ***** to find) took the box in to download the 2000 tune and my new hardware wizard says it cant find the device so i cant load any tunes. can anyone help?

Umm its been awhile but i had to do it a couple of times and i think i eventually downloaded the first thing on the downloads (it isnt actually a tune) and then it worked fine. X2 comes to mind as its name but i cant remeber. Good luck.

I have vista and on my main pc I had it hooked up during the install process not disconnected like the instructions say I also had it hooked to a bay not hooked directly the back of the pc which they say also. It still never loads the drivers no matter what I do so I had to start fresh with my laptop and it worked the first time. So correct what I said about direct plug in etc. maybe it will work out if not, find another pc to use for a minute.

Try things again...maybe using WinXP as they've had problems in the past w/VISTA but I think it's been resolved. Just be patient and try it a couple of times...it should recognize it.

You didn't plug the box in before you ran the .exe file did you? That can cause minor issues, but nothing big. Just call quad tech support if you don't get it figured out. The big thing is to run the update file, and THEN plug the module in while it's searching for it.
