hey guys,im trying to get to the botom of a electrical gremlin,starting this past winter intermitently my truck would not start,pushed the key and nothing wouldnt crank or anything,i would push the clutch in hard and many times and then it would finally go,i figured clutch switch,so i cut it and put the wires together,seemed ok but now its back and does it fairly reg,seems to do it when cold then wiii work fine all day,i unpluged the quad x2 and it hasnt done it since,i dont know if it was a coinsidence,alos the headlite burnt out life came on and the pasenger lite was out on high and low,then the next time i turned the key on it was back on,wierddddddd,anythousts guys

Not sure about the headlights however I did read somewhere on here about the smaller wire from the starter chaffing on a bracket right near the starter causing a no start condition....might want to search for that on the forum as well as check the wire.

I did a post in the past as it happened to my neighbor and almost me. I even put picks on there.

thnks for the replys,do u have a link to the post with piks u made,i searched starter and wire and didnt see it,i have elimanted the x2 as the cause,it did it again while it was unpluged,also the headlite is a seperate mater,i have a loose conection at the lite itself,my dad thinks its a ground thingy or one of the bateries isnt up to snuff,thanx for the replys

It is a yellow with blue tracer wire that comes from the starter solenoid and over the drivers side motor mount. That is where it will chaff.

My passenger side headlight is out too, high and low beam which seems kinda weird, never had both filaments go out at once before...
