Quad Race?

After reading the posts from Quad and others on the new Beta software, I have a couple ???'s.
I am going to buy the Race Module/Commander within the week.
Should I:
A) go ahead and buy then upgrade to the new software?
B) wait until the undisclosed date to buy, so I will have the new and improved module?
I'm also tossing around the idea of trading, but most likely keep my current truck...still practically new (mileage wise-54k)..sink the money in mods instead of new payments...

What do you guys think...Steer me the right way...All I know for sure is it will be a Quad/Commander, but timing on when to get has got me puzzled...

Thanks in advance!

i know what the price of the existing modules cost, that's advertised.
i know what the upgrade price from the current to new modules will be, that is not advertised, please dont ask.
i do not know what the NEW price for the new modules for a 1st time buy will be. so as far as telling you buy now, or wait a month or so, it would only be a guess.
i have had a quad standard, quad race, and now the race2 beta. all 3 were great. the beta just has more features and has smoother power. buy now, upgrade when its available. go shopping.

Thanks for the reply, but I wasn't planning on asking how much! All I wanted to know were opinions on what more knowledgable people would do in my situation!
Quad himself has cleard it up for me. Thanks...
