Quad commander?s

Well I got it today and I must be a idiot I am trying to figure out all the wirea and were they hook into. The single strand that goes to the pyro is no problem it is all the other wires that are the problem. I have a lot of ?s. None of the other wires have any markings so not sure where they go. I thought they would just plug in to pigtails but I have to splice some. Not sure wich leads go where. Also how do I put the trans line (1 of the ones I know on the Multiple line set up) in the output line? do I need a special atachment to tap into it. I did not order the boost kit wich I will but what do I do with that line tell I get it?

It is actually pretty easy to install. You do not need to splice any wires you just tap onto 2 of them.

The wires are not marked but, they are color coded. The instructions will tell you which color wire goes where.

A few minutes of reading the manual will make it all clear!

Just wanted to say thanks for havin nice people to talk to at your place. Ive made several calls over there and never bought anything (not directly from you anyway) and have never talked to one person that seemed "tired" of answerin ?'s. I was gonna get a boost fooler but Jeremy instructed me that I probably dont need one with what im runnin. Now Thats Good Service. I will be getting the commander as soon as it controls the tst and has the timer, mp8 control (I gotta keep as many of those switches ***** and boxes outta site as I can), etc. I guess since I want it all I might as well ask it the display is multi-colored or just like the edge/juice?

Anyway I would recommend your stuff to anybody. Im not even a customer and im satisfied. You guys like DonM, Thuren, scotty, pete sbc, bob wagner, all make this site a valuable source of info, just wanted to say thanks.

I am happy to hear they answer questions without problems, if they ever don't I sure hope someone tells me!

We have the MP8 control out now. We do not have the TST or the turbo timer yet. I will tell you that most likely we will not be able to do the TST and MP8 on the one monitor.

The display is similar to the Attitude but, much larger.

Hey Quad just not sure on a couple hook ups. Wich one to hook to on the Map sensor wire tap. It says connect the supplied wire tap to pin D. So if I am looking at the front of the truck it is near the back to the right of the Valve cover it is the the connecter with 4 wires I want to tap the wire on the right closest to the driver side.
Also can I hook just these up and due the EGT later and plug it in?
The fuel kit if I order it were doese i hook up at?

Look on Page 14. It shows what the MAP sensor looks like and which wire to tap. IT is the 4 pin connector and has a blue seal. You connect the blue wire to it.

The fuel pressure kit comes with a tapped banjo bolt. You remove a factory banjo bolt on the CP3 and replace it with the tapped bolt. Then you screw the fuel pressure sensor into it. Then you connect a seperate wiring harness to it and run a yellow wire to it.

page 14 of the pdf when viewed with acrobat is the map, trans, and coolant temp sender.

if it is printed, or you're looking at the numbers on the bottom of the page, its page 11

just read the directions thoroughly several times before starting the install.
