I'm only chiming in so 07 isnt sitting on the island alone - I also am not impressed with the Commander. I'm on my second one, and still unhappy with the button reliability.

I am not sure why you are having issues but, you should not be.
Send me a pm and I will take care of it personally. I will pull Commanders out of 2 of my personal trucks and send them to you.
I would say that the reliability is very, very good on the Commanders and out of the thousands we sell each month they are basically trouble free. We did have a manufacturing issue last month and we caught it ver fast but it did not cause any real heartburn or any functionality issues.
So pm me and I will get some guaranteed working ones to your door.

I've been trying this since about Aug of last year. I'm on my third one and still waiting for one that works correctly.
If I had to do it all over again I would've went analog. I've had zero problems out of my Autometers in almost four years.
