Pyrometer thermocouple question
I would like to add a pyrometer/EGT gauge to my truck. I already have a fuel gauge, which I think saved my VP44 when the stock lift pump died. My fuel gauge is a Dipricol, and I like it. Dipricol calls out an 'inconel' thermocouple... is it really a type K thermocouple that is coated with inconel? I know inconel thermocouples exist, but I don't think they are very common. Also, is Dipricol any better quality than Isspro? Isspro is a little le$$ and looks similar. I think both are used as OEM. Thanks for any help.

When I ordered my gauges last month, Pricol was backordered indefinitely by Genos Garage. I went with Isspro EV2 as I have had good luck with my EV's in my 97. I was wanting to try something different, but alas not to be had.. Not sorry I got the EV2 either, great gauges.
