Pre is the only way to get an accurate reading.
I want to see the hotest temps my engine is producing.
I have one on top to monitor 1-3(attitude pyro) and one in the "collector" part of the manifold right before the turbo, in the back section, monitoring 4-6...

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
Go pre. Unless you do what I did just for fun and have both pre and post. One gauge, selectable between two probes.

I had written a reply to this vote about pre and post turbo. But it seems to have dissapeared. I guess no matter what the site opinion is pre turbo.
In the future I will use this site as a read only forum. this isnt the first time and wont be the last time this has happened.

So is it really not worth installing one after the turbo?
I'm installing my Pacbrake this weekend and it has a port for a pyro. I was considering installing the pyro at the same time. Maybe I'll rethink it.
