My Autometer goes to 1400-1600 when I shutdown. No big deal.

the autometer pyros use a stepper motor. they stop where ever they want when the power supply to the gauge stops... normal... do not worry about it. if it does bother you, change your power supply to the gauge to something that is constently on, instead of being switched..
