putco cab lights
Was wondering if anyone has the putco l.e.d. cab lights. Have seen alot of people with the recon. I had the recon on my 97. they weren't sealed very well and ended up with alot of condensation inside. the putco look like they might be a little better constructed and they look pretty good with three lights in each one.

Look good other than that chrome trim on the bottom.
About the recons not sealing....no matter who makes anything that put holes in the roof, if it goes on my truck it gets clear silicone. Problem solved right there.

yea would look better without the chrome. my truck is silver though so it shouldn't be that bad. it doesn't have the stock lights so it is going to be a little work to get them in.

Hi there, just wanted to see if people had some more time on these. I bought Recons 5 years ago. The first set lost the "chrome" finish and looked terrible after a year. They didn't seal well with their foam gaskets either. I sent Recon an Email and to their credit, they sent me a new set for free. Well I just took these off yesterday cause they were cracked and leaking and the bulb holders were melted and more lights were out than on. Now I have the stockers back on and it just doesn't look right.
So how are you liking the putcos people? do they use the sock plugs? is the base metal or plastic? how do they seal them to the roof?
Thanks for any answers!
