These '06s are heavy. On the CAT scales, mine came out to 8100 pounds with me and a full tank of fuel (75 gallons). The front axle was 4760 and the back was 3340.

Because I bought my 4.5 out of state (Oregon), I had to get an official weight for Kalifornia to register it. Somehow everyone has to pay ""Commercial weight" in the republik of Kalifornia. Every 1000 lbs increases the fees. After getting an initial "just checking"" weight of a little over 7000 lbs, I let my tank get down to fumes and went and tried again. I got it to weigh 6980! Made it official and thats what my truck weighs according to the Kalifornia DMV.
