Buddy of mine wants me to build a trebuchet for that very purpose. I like pumpkin pies, but sure would be fun to launch one. Wonder how big a splatt it would make landing on a M-1 tank??? HMMMM.

I love watching those guys on TV. Some of the things they come up with are pretty cool. Down here in the south, we just put one on the roof, drive really fast and slam on the brakes. Or we drive really fast and throw them at signs.

Looks like a blast. I saw a show on Discovery I think, some English guy with too much money and one of those country estates, 50 acre lawn that looks like golf course. He had built a giant trebuchet, was using to launch small cars. He also built a giant fire bomb, was launching that into his golf course looking lawn. Quality entertainment there.

Man before I die i want to make a pumkin chunker. I have made many of their little brothers potatoe guns. Few beers a potato gun large field and a catchers mitt . Not willing to try it with a pumpkin but would love to launch on a few thousnad feet.
