Pulse Monitor Problem

Yesterday I was driving along and my truck just shut down, no stutter at all. It turns out that my battery cable came loose cutting off power to the truck. I retightened the cable and the truck started right up as normal, however there was a problem with the pulse monitor. Now the back light on the pulse monitor is the only thing that comes on. No startup screen or readings and no sound or change in power when i press the up down buttons. I tried unplugging the box and plugging it back in but no results. Would a battery cable coming undone during operation cause a power spike to the box or monitor? I am out of my one year warranty now and don't really feel like paying for a whole new setup. I appreciate the help guys.

I also plugged the smarty in to check for trouble codes. If the box was completely dead it would throw a no map sensor code correct?

Hard to say exactly what happened but, if the cable arced to anything or something similar it could have caused a power spike to the pulse. It probably did not hurt it but, it could have erased it or something?

The first thing I would try and do is to update or re-program it and see if that solves the issue.

If everything is hooked up we have built in backup protection for the boost circuit so even if the box died, the MAP sensor circuit will still be ok and won't set any codes.

Ok, tried to update the box and has some issues. When updating it said that the module was found however not recognized. It cleared the codes, but did not show that it installed anything. Im gonna try to install the update for the pulse next to see if that does anything, not to hopeful though.
